Start your bushwalking adventure on a high with a scenic seaplane flight from the (relatively) bustling metropolis of Hobart into the remote wilderness of Bathurst Harbour.


Flights depart from either Hobart’s historic waterfront or Cambridge. Our crew will confirm your departure point at the time of booking.


After a spectacular 40-minute flight and a thrilling water landing, guests take a short dinghy transfer to the drop-off point at Clyde Clayton’s jetty. From here, walkers can begin their journey along the Port Davey Track or the Southwest Coast Track.


Alternative drop-off points arranged by prior agreement include The Crossing on the Port Davey Track at Bathurst Narrows, Melaleuca and Schooner Cove for those tackling the Southwest Cape Circuit.


Transfers range from $560 to $650 per person one-way, with regular departures scheduled between December and April, Tasmania’s peak walking season.
